As a fan of the horror genre, we are still waiting to see a film in Bollywood which can scare the hell out of audience. But, until the time a film like this actually happens here, why not check out some real poop popping movies made slightly far from India.

1. Battle Royale

Students of junior high school are forced by the Japanese government to compete in a death match between each other, with one victorious survivor to be allowed to leave.
The film directed by Kinji Fukasaku involves bloodshed which makes you uncomfortable and questions the validity of your moral values.

2. Suicide Circle

Directed by Sion Sono, the extremely gory film revolves around a sudden occurring pandemic of suicides and the mystery around it being solved by the detective named Kuroda (Ryo Ishibashi). The film opens with a scene that involves the mass suicide by 54 teen school girls who jump in front of a train.
The scene stays among one of the most disturbing ones ever and may leave you shocked for many days. Don’t watch it if you are not very strong by heart.

Directed by Koji Shiraishi the 2005 mockumentary style horror film revolves around a paranormal investigator named Masafumi who goes missing while filming his last documentary about a mysterious curse.

4. Uzumaki

The horror film is inspired by the popular manga artist Junji Ito.
It’s about the sudden strange happenings in the town. Kirie’s boyfriend’s father becomes obsessed with spiral shapes and ends up getting killed inside a washing machine.
People started turning into snails and schoolgirls eventually grow gravity-defying swirled hair. Some more terrifying incidents happen and the mystery needs to be solved by Kirie and her boyfriend.

In Dark Water, Yoshimi (Hitomi Kuroki) moves into a neglected apartment with her daughter. Strange things start happening and she notices that a leak forms in the building’s ceiling and it gets worse every day.
The building’s janitor is of no help so she tries to help herself. The things get nastier and one day her daughter goes missing and the film takes a creepy and horrific turn.

6. Kaidan

The romantic horror film involves everything to give you enough thrilling experience.
A samurai had killed a moneylender 250 years back and dumped his body in a river. Now the son of samurai and daughter of moneylender fall in love to eventually find out that the spirit of the moneylender is around and is really pissed with them.

7. Shibuya Kaidan

The film’s story involves a group of friends who decide to watch a horror story. It looks like a typical Bollywood film story but the narrative is terrifying and disturbing enough to make you stay awake of several upcoming nights.

8. Ichi The Killer
